Description: This position requires coverage for both clinic and call responsibilities. The schedule for clinic is four days per week from 8 AM to 4 PM, including an hour for lunch. Call will be 1:4, with weekend coverage starting Friday at 8 AM until Monday at 8 AM. The facility currently conducts an average of 60 births per month. It is a Level II nursery that delivers pregnancies of 34 weeks and above. Vendors are responsible for obtaining and submitting all necessary pre-hire requirements. Medical Staff Services will conduct separate background screening and credentialing reviews. Patient encounters will be required during shifts. Providers must demonstrate competency and training equal to board certification for the privileges sought. All providers must hold certifications in essential areas as listed. This position involves managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. Specific skills required include FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, routine deliveries, decision-making for C-sections, and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. Surgical gynecology skills are also needed, including laparoscopic and open procedures. Candidates must have laser certification.
