License: Active RN license required.
Certifications: Must have completed and maintain up-to-date certifications in:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) considered an asset.
Must-Have: Candidates must be open to working all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Description:
Join us in the Emergency Department, a level 1 trauma center.
This role provides the opportunity to deliver tertiary-level care.
The Specialty RN is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care.
This position involves providing clinical leadership in complex or unpredictable patient care settings.
The Specialty RN must possess the knowledge, skill, and judgment necessary for competent, evidence-based nursing practice.
As a member of a collaborative care team, the Specialty RN works with other disciplines to coordinate care for patient and family outcomes.
The Specialty RN contributes to the efficient functioning of the service and coordination of patient care.
Compliance with documentation processes is required.
