The Specialty Registered Nurse is responsible for overall coordination and direction of nursing care.
This role involves providing clinical leadership, particularly in complex or unpredictable patient care settings.
The Specialty Registered Nurse must possess the knowledge, skill, and judgment necessary for competent, evidence-based nursing practice.
As a member of a collaborative care team, the Specialty Registered Nurse works with various disciplines to coordinate care to achieve patient and family outcomes.
This role contributes to the effective functioning of the service and coordination of patient care.
Compliance with documentation processes at relevant sites is essential.
