Radiology - Radiation Therapist

Experience: One year of radiation experience.

License: NY License in hand required.

Certifications: Current BCLS certification.

Must-Have:

Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.

Description: The Clienttion Therapist will work in the Oncology department. They will perform radiation treatment for patients. Experience with Varian TrueBeam, IX, and Aria software is preferred. Specific experience and training in radiology are also preferred. The position involves 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must have effective communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to patient care and safety is essential.
