Experience: Experience working in large urban emergency departments is highly preferred.

License: Valid RN license required.

Certifications: Must have completed and maintain up-to-date certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) is considered an asset.

Must-Have: Candidates must be open to working all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Description: Join the Emergency Department. This position offers the unique opportunity to provide tertiary-level care. The Specialty RN is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care. They provide clinical leadership, particularly in complex or unpredictable patient care settings. The Specialty RN possesses the knowledge, skill, and judgment needed for competent, evidence-based nursing practice. As a member of a collaborative care team, the Specialty RN works with other disciplines to coordinate care and achieve patient and family outcomes. The Specialty RN contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the service, ensuring coordination of patient care. They comply with documentation processes at site locations.
